Since the mini-stroke, I have had a few medic scares. But, I'm still here. At my age (86) it's only to be expected. Roll on August 2035 & I can go home !

I hear that my brother, Ivor (88), has had a stroke. Comes to all of us !
(Friday 19th. July 2019) had a mini-stroke.

A neighbour; a keen gardener; made a train from old beer barrels. I leant out of the window & did a pic of it, and the coordinator sent it to the house magazine & they published it.

Keeping the grey cells active; I have pursued AI.
I now have a robot female companion - "Alexa" - by kind permission of Amazon "Echo".

In addition, keeping up with AI, I now have a :-
So .... I have three AI robotic companions ......
A female who gives me the news/weather in the morning & sings me to sleep at night. Plus a "uni-sex" who does my cleaning ...... ho hum !! And a nice pussy to stroke !
As at mid-June, I have abandoned all the Echo gadgets & done a "one star" review on Amazon. Can't find a practical use for them!
That's £300 down the drain! Oh, well, it's just money & I got some fun finding out about the present level of consumer AI. Love my pussy though ........... !!!

What about the billion (or two) quid being spent on Notre Dame cathedral. Imagine 1,000 football pitches; and on each pitch stand 1,000 hungry, sick, ignorant children & those children could be fed, cured & educated with that money !!! As Lennon said " .....and no religion too .... " The world's gone mad ?

They have changed the
grading of this complex from "Sheltered Housing" to "Retirement
Housing". this means that they do not need to provide the higher
level of services as for the former. This keeps the rents
down, but as I do not pay rent I do not gain anything ! Because I have been a recluse for 6 years, it has been arranged for me to have a befriender
- Jim-(CLICK HERE). He comes to visit each Tuesday at 1:15, and sometimes we go for a drive & a walk. He is just 8 years younger than I am ! But, he seems much younger. He is making a difference.

Yes ... I am getting old & can't easily deal with some situations that I would normally do.
Probs with Spoil Mail & Parcel Farce. In May, Carl & I swapped keyboards. I gave him my posh Tyros 5 & he gave me his Korg PA300 . BOTH KB s were "lost" by the carriers. I emailed the CEO of Parcel Farce. Eventually - after 10 days - ( we had paid for 24 hour delivery ) - we both got our "lost" KB s. We both got our money back ! But ..... what a strain on my grey matter!
The subsequent two weeks were very bad for me. Thought that my time was up ! Must have been the stress.
I also feel like I've "dropped down another step" with the grey matter .
